Our Term Deposit account allows you to lock in a competitive interest rate for a fixed period of time. Your interest is fixed for the term of your investment.

You can choose from 1 month or up to 3 years of fixed terms.

Interest will be paid:

• Upon maturity - for terms 17 months or less
• 6 monthly and on maturity - for terms 18 to 36 months
• Or other terms by special arrangement
  

Interest can be either:

• Credited to another CBS Canterbury account
• Credited to another bank
• Paid out by bank cheque
• Compounded
